Installing Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client

Step 1

Open a web browser and navigate to the download webpage:

Step 2

Download the anyconnect-win-x.xx.xxxxx-core-vpn-predeploy-k9.msi file.

Step 3

Navigate Windows File Explorer to the installer file. Double-click anyconnect-win-x.xx.xxxxx-core-vpn-predeploy-k9.msi to initiate the installation process.

Step 4

A pop-up window may ask for permissions, in this case, select Yes. If your pop-up asks if you are sure you want to run this software, select Run.

Step 5

Click Finish. You have now successfully installed the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client on your computer.

Start VPN connection

Step 1

Launch the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client client. If you don't see Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client in the list of programs, navigate to Cisco > Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.

Step 2

When prompted for a VPN, enter tusken.1ci.com and then click Connect.

Step 3

If you have an Internet connection and a properly installed certificate a window will appear for you to enter your account password. Your username will be listed above the password line. Enter your account password and click OK.

Once the VPN connection is established, a message displays in the lower-right corner of your screen, informing you that you are now connected to the VPN.

Disconnect from the 1Ci VPN

In the notification area, click the Cisco AnyConnect icon. At the prompt, click Disconnect.
